….Introduce yourself please?

Hey I’m Mickael Deschenaux-Comte A.K.A Shiest.D, I’m 27 yrs old, I’m living in Switzerland right now between Aigle (that’s on the side of GVA’s lake) & Zurich

What country did you grow up in and what age did you learn to ski?

Well i was born in Switzerland but i moved out & grew up pretty much the states when i was like 13-14yrs old but i guess the entire world (travelling so much) was my hometown…Hehe
And i came Back in Switzerland in 2006.
I learned skiing when i was 9 yrs old.

favourate ski location?

I guess would say mammoth mountain CA & June mountain Ca when it was still banging, they had the best areas, but nowadays there is so many good parks and hills that it is kind of hard to define who’s the best location to go ride to…

When are you next competing?

I actually decided to quit the comp world because i reached my goal i would say, growing up I always dreamed to win a major contest like X-Games or US Open, i did, the both of them! LOL. so i guess I reached my “professional” dream… And to tell you the deep truth, I assume im too real as a human being to be in such of industry, im not a vulture, im an eagle, if you know what I mean…

Injuries?

Broken colar bone, open fracture of the kneecap, broken nose, broken hands, chipped femur, ripped ankle ligaments, hum what else ?? oh yeah blue balls ahah !!

When did you become involved in streetwear?

Well we have this ski brand called “Ninthward” since 2005 and we at first made some skateboards and also some street wear and I always was I guess in advance with the whole steez deal compared to other skiing kids so I always had a crush for matching colours, with matching shoes etc, like Iberg would say “ain’t easy being steezy” LOL and now one of my goals is to model for brands, which im doing right now for you bro !! √

Do you do or like any other extreme sports?

I don’t really know if you consider skateboarding & roller skating an extreme sports but I still do a little bit of that, I used to do it a lot when younger but every skater knows how much you get hurt while doing that sport… Nowadays I went back to DownHill biking because I used to ride dirtbikes and it’s kind of the same sentations…

Your also a rapper, tell us more, any influences on your style?

I really don’t think im a rapper I just have a different discharge system then most of the people I assume… Writing was always a passion since really young and one day all those toughts were put over a freestyle session with friends just partying, and step by step we tried to put it over an actual beat, then things came out pretty good and more and more we worked this thing out, now we doing shows etc, so it’s really more like a good way of express my self to the world as far as anger/joy/fears/misunderstandings etc… Well my influences have always been misunderstood by my friends & the people surrounding me I explain…LOL I bought my two first cd’s with my own money when I was like 12 i guess I will remember it forever, I bought “Obsolete from Fear factory” & “Paris sous le bombes de NTM” ahahah so i was already a weirdo alternative kid… People & friends never figured it out… X-P Nowadays my influences can go from anywhere from Edith piaf to veil of maya or lil wayne, every artist but the “minimal scene” (sorry ahah) have something to offer to peoples ears √

Fave music while you are on the slopes?

Depends the mood but on the slopes it’s two ways HXC/DeathCore Or Hip-Hop

Your tattoo collection is growing fast, whats next?

Not fast enough to me..!! You know what this feels like right hehe, I started it 7 years ago, my chest is almost done, one of my sleev is almost done as well and my back (you will see it soon on the internet) is 90% finished…! What’s next ? finish my leg with Greg from Inkvaders, then finish whatever is left with Chris & Greg from Inkvaders… There’s also room left !!!! NO MATTER THEY SAY AHAH

Biggest achievement?

Becoming drugfree (except tobacco) after 10 years of doing a lot of shit that even took me to an sort of O.D in 2006, lost friends over that shit and some even died… It was hard but since then I haven’t touched a single drug not even a insignificant joint, pretty proud of my self I’d say….

The future?

Bright with no haters, no rapist & no more experiences on animals PLEASE !!!!! And no misjudging on so called dangerous dogs… There is no bad pitbulls, just bad owners ! just like guns don’t kill, people do..!
