Last Thursday I went down to London to see Mcbess at the Hayward Gallery to catch up and see the mid stages of a live drawing he was doing with another amazing artist Ugo Gattoni.
These pics don’t do their work any justice AT ALL! Iv known mcbess a while now but its not until your next to him watching him work freehand and see the detailing close up that you realise how skilled this man is!
Me + Mcbess will be working together very soon on a Jilted collaboration AND on a live paint project inside Candy Store. ….KEEP EM PEALED!

Checkout their websites! Ugo’s site has a piece of artwork on it that took him 6months to complete, the detail is out of this world! (Anybody like MEAT + FISTING? ….Of course ya do!) His website also has a super ‘ZOOM IN’ feature which lets you see every detail of the art piece!
Around a month ago I got approached by somebody on behalf of Technodrome asking if i would be interested in him illustrating a piece based on myself. I looked into him and this geeza’s work is SICK so of course I agreed!
My Artwork and Jilted designs come from a stencil based background so I can easily relate to his work!

On July 22nd I opened my new shop‘The Candy Store’
Many things have changed in my life over the last few years as people who have followed my blog from the beginning will know!
My change of career/life has been an uphill struggle and the hard work has been continuous to pull together all the things I have! Despite this I wouldn’t have it any other way and looking back the struggle has definitely been worth it! I wont stop doing what I do until I have achieved everything I set out to do around 4years ago!
The ‘pulling together’ is 1 thing but for me its the maintaining that has been the issue, my mind is at times a volatile place and my actions are often uncontrollable.
(The opening of this store for me personally was a sign that things are heading in the right direction and I have finally achieved full self control!)
….Things can only get better, ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

A big thanks to everyone who passed through the store for the opening, I’ve got BIG things lined up for the near future of The Candy Store.
Iv had a hectic few months so at the moment im constantly feeling worn out!
Saturday at 3am I had to get a taxi from Birmingham to London and get a 7:30am flight to Basel airport (Switzerland). Then when I arrived there at 10am we had to drive down into Belfort (France)
….Once there i had 12hrs ‘work’ (ha) to do so the day had just began!
Driver was waiting at the airport for me with a cold drink and a big smile I knew from then it was gonna be a good weekend! (as always!)

Due to the 2days continual drinkin and loss of all flight info i had to get the taxi to the airport few hours early just in case. JonDixwas already heading to the airport so just jumped in with him.

The intention of this video isn’t to talk s##t about violence! Everything said on this video was read from script, its called ACTING!!!! (I’m good ye I know!) This was a video installation for a friends final exam piece of artistic video editing at the University of the Arts London.

The Truth, Half The Truth and Nothing Like The Truth!
Well known Huddersfield artist Peter O’toole has for sale Original signed + numbered screen prints that were featured in OTP’s recent London exhibition at the Orange Dot gallery that ran throughout July including 1 piece he did of myself that you might remember. Prints of this will soon be on sale which a few people have already contacted me through Facebook and shown interest in but as usual i have forgotten who! (Get in touch with me if your still interested)
Peter is a bad artist who is also to thank for the background drawings here on this JR website, In the near future he will also be collaborating with me on designing a garment for Jilted Royalty so be sure to keep an eye out for that one!

Thursday night went to the Orange Dot Gallery in London to an OTP Exhibition where a painting of me done by Peter O’Toole was on display along with loads of other bad screen print pieces the lads had done!
The exhibition is on for the next month and has many original prints for sale, get down there an have a mooch! . (Picture drew from this photo)
Very soon you will see pics on the blog of art pieces iv been making over the past 12 months, these are very intricate pieces each one taking atleast 20 hours involving a book and a knife. 1 thing i never used to pick up and 1 thing i never used to put down, Now iv found harmony with the 2 and spend the same amount of time with each of them! I’m like a master craftsmen / deranged butcher!
Peter O’toole and the rest of O.T.P are back again takin over another gallery with the sickest artwork made esspecially for this show! This pic of your truely is 1 of 5 pieces Peter has done and will be turned into large screen prints.
Was walkin down the road today and walked straight into this, some fuckin animal had shit in a draw on a plastic baby and left it there for public display at the traffic lights, i was shocked man and it was a bad start my day!
i don’t know wot the fucks goin on in some peoples heads but it ent normal that’s for sure!
